The Green‑Blue Infrastructure and Biodiversity Plan for Reus, commissioned by the Reus City Council, is based on an ecosystem‑focused vision of the municipal territory and has the primary objective of enhancing citizens’ wellbeing and health while supporting nature.
To achieve this objective, the Plan identify eleven general criteria, including linking biodiversity improvement and ecosystem restoration with climate change adaptation, agroecological transition, and landscape quality enhancement.
Following these criteria, the Plan identifies sixteen strategic elements that provide guidance for urban planning and interventions in the municipality.
The team composed of JORNET LLOP PASTOR and MINUARTIA drafted the Plan, with the collaboration of CÍCLICA.
