New edition of the guide on technical specifications for wildlife crossings and measures to promote biodiversity

The third edition of the technical reference guide on wildlife crossings, perimeter fencing and other measures to promote biodiversity in transport infrastructure is now available. Produced within the framework of MITECO’s Working Group on Habitat Fragmentation, the publication includes new content on habitat defragmentation, ecological restoration and technologies to reduce wildlife roadkill, and updates the recommendations on wildlife crossings. MINUARTIA has contributed to this update by providing technical assistance, as part of a collaboration spanning more than twenty years aimed at improving ecological connectivity and the integration of biodiversity into transport infrastructure.
