The Provincial Council of Girona has organized the course ‘Planning of Green Infrastructure at the Local Level 2023’, aimed at staff from local administrations in the province of Girona. The course consisted of two days that allowed participants to learn about two different practical cases: Hostalric and ‘la Vora’, in Girona.
The class in Hostalric was taught by MINUARTIA, which has developed the general concepts of green infrastructure and the key characteristics of the municipal strategic plans for green infrastructure (PEMIV) promoted by the same Provincial Council. Through a tour of different places in the municipal area, the PEMIV of Hostalric was explained, including the characteristics of the components that are part of the green infrastructure in the municipality and the proposals for each of them.
The day aroused the interest of the twenty attendees, who participated actively in it through questions and interesting reflections on the topics developed.
