Minuartia has received the recognition given by the Club EMAS because the company has the EMAS certification from 10 years ago. This recognition has taken place during the delivery of the EMAS Awards Catalunya 2014, in which framework has been recognized to the organizations that marked the 10 years with the certification in 2013 or 2014.
The event was held on 30 October 2014, and organized by the Club EMAS with the support of the Department of Territori and Sustaintability. It has been chaired by the Minister, Mr. Santi Vila. He and the President of the Club EMAS, Mr. Marti Puig, have delivered the EMAS Awards Catalunya 2014 in the three categories (Best Environmental Statement, Best action of the involvement of the stakeholders and Improvement of environmental performance) and the awards to the organizations that have reached 10 years with EMAS. The General Director of Environmental Qualitat, Ms. Assumpta Farran, has delivered the new EMAS certificates to organizations that achieved it during 2013 or 2014.
The event has been held in Conference Room Pau Gil of the Modernista complex of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, and it has been developed in a broadcast format live radio. The Conseller, the General Director and the President of the Club Emas have been interviewed during it. The event has benefited from the assistance of about 200 people who have filled the capacity of the venue.
