Technical assistance service to support wildlife management in the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. The project carried out by MINUARTIA includes the preparation of advisoty reports on wildlife management, updating the vertebrate catalog and the VULCÀ GIS management module, and monitoring populations of key species: wild board and roe deer, rabbit, amphibians, and reptiles. It also includes the analysis of traffic accidents involving ungulates within the Park’s boundaries. The results will improve knowledge and conservation of wildlife, strengthen monitoring programs, and propose adaptive management measures for protected, threatened, hunting, and invasive exotic species.
