Study of wildlife biodiversity in Ripollet focused on the Ripoll River fluvial system, a key ecosystem for local fauna, with the aim of updating knowledge on the species present to implement Ripollet’s Strategic Wildlife Biodiversity Plan. Through field surveys of various faunal groups (birds, mammals, bats, and butterflies) and data analysis, the diversity of species is documented, highlighting the importance of habitats associated with the Ripoll River. Based on the study results, actions are proposed for inclusion in Ripollet’s Strategic Biodiversity Plan, aimed at promoting biodiversity and particularly enhancing wildlife conservation, improving habitats in the fluvial area, and thereby strengthening ecosystem services such as pollination and pest control.
