Environmental study aimed at improving terrestrial connectivity and infrastructure permeability in La Múnia–Marmellar, between the counties of Alt and Baix Penedès. This work is part of the Green Infrastructure Program projects promoted by the Department of Territory and Sustainability of the Government of Catalonia and aligns with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030. The study area is of strategic interest for ecological connection between the protected natural areas of El Montmell–Marmellar and Foix. The study proposes adapting transversal structures on transport routes in the area to facilitate wildlife crossings, as well as restoring habitats along river corridors identified as main connecting axes, particularly near their intersections with roads and railways.
