
On 6 and 7 June, the conference on ecological connectivity DINALPCONNECT, organized by the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia within the framework of the Interreg ADRION DINALPCONNECT project, took place in Velenje, Slovenia. This conference offered researchers and professionals the opportunity to exchange knowledge on various aspects of ecological connectivity. These included spatial analysis for the identification of connectors, the implementation of measures to reduce the negative effects of grey infrastructure (such as roads or railways), social conflicts related to ecological connectivity and the role of protected areas.
MINUARTIA participated with a presentation entitiled “Reducing the effects of traffic infrastructure on ecological connectivity” given by Carme Rosell.
