Miguel Muñoz

Degree in Biology and MsC in Ecology

Graduate in Biology from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and holds a Master’s degree in Ecology from UAM and the Complutense University of Madrid, with specialization in evolutionary ecology, conservation biology, and ornithology. He has participated in environmental outreach activities, ornithological censuses, and scientific bird ringing sessions as a certified bird ringer at expert level.

He has experience in environmental permitting and assessment (annual wildlife studies, environmental inventories, and analysis of impacts on biodiversity and protected natural areas). He has worked as a research technician on the LIFE-Ricotí project (UAM), carrying out cartography using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and studies on the effectiveness of bird anti-collision systems at wind farms.

He is part of the Minuartia team, working on wildlife risk management at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.
