Ferran Martinez

Degree in Environmental Sciences and MSc in Biodiversity

Graduate in Environmental Sciences and Master’s degree in Biodiversity from the University of Barcelona. He has worked in environmental consultancy as a technician in biodiversity projects, urban strategy, environmental education, and dynamizing participation processes. He has extensive experience in wildlife monitoring through photography and video-trapping, and conducting bird, micromammal and chiropteran censuses, among others. He has also studied macroinvertebrates and mortality of eurasian eagle-owl (Bubo bubo) in Catalonia.  He has experience in the use of geographic information systems.

He is part of the Minuartia team as a biodiversity monitoring and conservation technician.
