Drafting of guidelines for small and medium-sized towns to develop strategic green infrastructure plans. The document provides information on the basic concepts and framework of strategies and plans in the European, state and Catalan context. At municipal level, they focus especially on peri-urban spaces, which can undergo rapid transformations in uses and activities and do not have planning and management tools that are as powerful as those in urban spaces.
\nGuidelines are provided on the process of mapping green infrastructure and assessing ecosystem services. Guidelines are also given on the contents to be included in strategic action plans and the importance of participation of the local population and social and economic agents in all phases of the process of developing the plan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
