Drafting a plan to regulate hunting activities in the Montseny Natural Park. Big game hunting in Montseny focuses mainly on wild boar and roe deer, the main game species in the area. Both species are experiencing significant population growth, with wild boar in particular causing various conflicts, including posing a threat to the conservation of certain elements of biodiversity. Within this context, key aspects for the regulation of hunting in the Natural Park are identified, with the aim of defining guidelines to improve the management of hunting activities. These guidelines may subsequently be incorporated into Technical Hunting Management Plans. The project includes surveys of all wild boar hunting teams, as well as participatory sessions with hunters and Park managers to establish consensus-based proposals for their incorporation into the Natural Park\u2019s planning instruments and their application on publicly owned land.\nMonitoring indicators are also defined for different actions in order to assess their implementation and effectiveness.
