Joana ColomerDegree in Biology and MSc in 'Wildlife Biology and Conservation'

    Degree in Biology from the University of Barcelona and master’s degree in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from the Edinburgh Napier University. Her university work focused on the study of peatlands in the Pyrenean high mountains within the LIFE LimnoPirineu project, in collaboration with the UB Group of Geobotany and Vegetation Mapping, and the study of puffin populations on the island of Mingulay (Scotland) in collaboration with the Scottish National Trust. She has been part of Minuartia since 2015, where she has participated in project teams related to the management and conservation of protected natural areas, guides for the conservation of biodiversity in infrastructures and urban spaces, and various wildlife monitoring studies using techniques of camera and video trapping, tracking of mammals, and other sampling systems. She coordinates the preparation of videos and websites to disseminate the company’s work.
