Albert CamaPhD in Environmental sciences and PhD in Animal Biology

    PhD in Environmental sciences and PhD in Animal Biology from the University of Barcelona. He has been an environmentalist and freelance biologist since 2002, and since 2015 he has been part of the technical team of Minuartia. He has extensive experience in field work in all areas of ornithology and in researching the interactions between bird species and human activities. Within Minuartia, he participates in wildlife management and conservation work, particularly related to transport infrastructures, hunted species, and the prevention of animal collisions at airports and with high-speed trains. He has participated in drafting risk studies of impacts with fauna and wildlife risk management programmes in 33 airports, coordinated work at 16 airports in the AENA network, and taken part in a project involving 14 airports in Greece. He has published several scientific papers on fauna in international journals and has made presentations at international congresses, seminars and conferences. He has also taught classes for the master’s degree in Biodiversity at the University of Barcelona and the master’s degree in Law and Environment at the Rovira i Virgili University. He is collaborates with the Department of Evolutionary Biology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences of the UB.
