Guide for the identification of open spaces for priority conservation and recovery in the Natural Park of the Heads of the Ter and Freser

Natural Park of the Heads of the Ter and Freser
2019

Development of a practical guide, in the form of worksheets, for the recovery of open spaces, meadows and pastures. The document includes aspects to consider before carrying out the actions, including the preliminary selection of areas, based on the previous study ‘Identification of open spaces for conservation and priority recovery in the Natural Park of the Heads of the Ter and Freser prepared by Minuartia in 2018.
The guidelines consist of 12 proposed actions for pasture recovery grouped into four broad categories: landscape-scale interventions, interventions for the recovery and improvement of meadows and pastures, maintenance of reclaimed open spaces, and measures to conserve species or interest groups. For each action, there is a description of its objectives, a practical description of the guidelines for carrying it out and other relevant related information.
