Production of practical guides to address strategies to mitigate the impacts of roads on wildlife and the maintenance of ecological assets present in linear transport infrastructures (roads and railways). These guides are based on proven scientific and technical information and previous studies carried out within the framework of the SAFEROAD project (Safe Roads for Wildlife and People). The information is in a concise format and adapted to online environments to make it easier to consult and update in the future, and the aim is to contribute to companies and transport administrations developing efficient strategies for mitigation and management of ecological assets. The documents produced will also be incorporated as new chapters in the IENE Wildlife & Traffic Handbook, which is being updated.
