Aviary study of the International Airport of the Brunca Region (Costa Rica), including the analysis of the risk of collision with birds

Monitoring of the bird population in the project and influence (13 km radius circle) areas for one year, and risk assessment for all detected species. Identification of wildlife attractants throughout the study area. Recommendation of measures to mitigate hazards due to the presence of birds and other wildlife. Recommendation of measures to prevent wildlife mortality during airport construction and operation. Drafting of the WHMP.

Study developed under the environmental impact assessment of the planned airport. Local ornithologists with expertise in tropical fauna were included in the team.
